This car is represents all my boyhood car lust. My pop a true “car guy” used to take me to all our local auto shows in upstate NY. While it was far from a car mecca the local shows had none of the pretentiousness of the big national shows, and only at such a mis organized small town event could you see a 930 turbo slantnose, a Hemi ‘cuda and a Detomaso Pantera all parked in a row. Can you imagine 3 more awesome yet more different cars? As my little kid heart raced for all three cars but the sound of that Detomaso burned a memory into my soul.

For those who don’t know the Detomaso Pantera was the byproduct of an Argentina Born Italian race car driver Alejandro De Tomaso. He brought all the fire and passion of the Italian aesthetic together with Ford Mustang v8 Power.
